Charging takes a couple of hours, but the instructions don’t mention that, so I figured it out myself. I’m not sure how long a full charge lasts since I haven’t used it enough to find out, but it has a lithium-ion battery, so I expect it to last quite a while. The scale automatically powers off after 180 seconds of inactivity, but you can also turn it off manually.
